The Pat McAfee Show had Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers on Tuesday and many expected a big announcement. Speculation about what the Packers’ quarterback will do next season has been running rampant since the team lost in the Divisional Round of the 2022 NFL Playoffs to the San Francisco 49ers. Well, things did not exactly go that way and the quarterback announced that there would be “no decision on his future today”.

While many, including the Green Bay Packers, are hoping for an early decision, but today’s run around could prove that the speculation has just begun. Aaron Rodgers has already had a news-filled offseason after the announcement that he and his fiancee Shailene Woodley had called off their engagement and had broken up. That being said his next big announcement will rotate around his future with football.

There are several potential paths for the four-time MVP Quarterback. He could decide to stay with the Green Bay Packers, head to another contending NFL team, or even decided to retire from the NFL. We do not know when this decision will come, but hopefully, the speculation will end soon. We here at Def Pen Sports will update the story whenever a decision is announced.
