Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has met with personnel from the New York Jets in his California home. The discussion happened with the Packers’ permission and has sparked even more trade rumors about the former MVP. Offseason drama and speculation have been flying around Rodgers for two offseasons now and it seems like he will not be playing with Green Bay next season. While the quarterback did say he would make his decision quickly, it is unclear exactly when that will happen. For now, it seems the Packers and Rodgers are headed toward parting ways at this time.

The New York Jets have made it clear that they are hoping to move on from quarterback Zach Wilson this offseason. They also want to make a serious upgrade at the position in the hopes that it will launch them to Super Bowl contention. New York was quickly linked to Aaron Rodgers this offseason once it was clear he was thinking about leaving Green Bay again.
Last season with the Green Bay Packers, Aaron Rodgers completed 350 passes for 3,695 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions on 542 passing attempts. He also rushed the ball 34 times for 94 yards and one rushing touchdown. The Jets are hoping to add a quarterback to their much-improved roster and Rodgers, while a temporary fix, could be the solution to winning a Super Bowl.
