Mike Zarren, David Griffin, and Kiki VanDeWeghe have been identified as potential candidates for the Philadelphia 76ers’ general manager job, according to a report from the Ringer.
Zarren was a finalist for the job and turned down an offer for it before it went to Sam Hinkie. Zarren is a longtime executive with the Boston Celtics and is considered a top candidate.
David Griffin, former GM of the Cleveland Cavaliers, is also a candidate for the position as well. David Griffin was apart of the Cavaliers team that won the 2016 NBA championship and has a good relationship with LeBron James, someone the Sixers could be interested in this upcoming offseason.
If no one appreciated you Griff I did, and hopefully all the people of Cleveland! Thanks for what u did for the team for 3 yrs! We got us 1?

Kiki VanDeWeghe is a former player, coach, and general manager in the league before eventually becoming the Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations for the NBA. He was the GM for the Denver Nuggets when they drafted Carmelo Anthony and hired George Karl, and was also a former GM for the Nets.
The 76ers parted ways with former GM Brian Colangelo after the fiasco with the multiple Twitter accounts that were suspected to have been his. Those accounts were making questionable statements about multiple Sixers players and even former GM Sam Hinkie.
