The 2023 Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game is set to take place tonight at the Jon M. Huntsman Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The two teams will be led by Utah Jazz Governor Ryan Smith and three-time NBA Champion Dwyane Wade. Team Ryan will be coached by Lisa Leslie, Fat Joe and Alex Bregman. On the court, Team Smith will be led by the Utah Jazz Governor, Cordae, Albert Pujols, Ozuna, Sinqua Walls, Calvin Johnson and Diamond DeShields among others. On the opposing sideline, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Lindsey Vonn will serve as coaches for Team Dwyane. Led by Wade, Team Dwyane’s on court efforts will feature 21 Savage, Janelle Monáe, Alex Toussaint, Nicky Jam, DK Metcalf and Hasan Minhaj among others.
“New this year, each team captain will have the ability to activate ‘Ruffles Crunch Time,’ which starts a two-minute period where point values are doubled. Additionally, Celebrity Game’s ‘Unlock a Legend’ feature will return in 2023, giving a team the ability to add a legendary NBA player to their roster mid-game,” a press release from the NBA reads.
“Throughout the game, captains Ryan Smith and Dwyane Wade and team members will also compete in gameplay activations, including shooting from the fan-favorite Ruffles 4-Point Ridge Line, to raise up to $100,000 to benefit 5 For The Fight Cancer Research Internship in partnership with Howard University.”
Airing on TNT, the 2023 Ruffles All-Star Celebrity Game is set to tip off on February 17 at 7 p.m. EST.
