The rosters for the 2021 NBA All-Star Game are set as both LeBron James and Kevin Durant made their picks during the draft televised by TNT.
This is James’ 17th All-Star selection and fourth time as team captain so he has already experience when it comes to assembling the best team as Team LeBron has been the winner in the three past presentations the featured team captains in the All-Star Game.
As for the other Team Captain in Kevin Durant, he is back in the All-Star Game after his Achilles injury and beat Giannis Antetokounmpo, who earned the Eastern captaincy for two years in a row, for the title in the Eastern Conference. Unfortunately, Durant won’t play in the game due to a hamstring injury so his team will have one player more than LeBron’s.
When it came close to the time to know how the order went, reporters didn’t want to be left out and Shams Charania from The Athletic reported that James took Antetokounmpo with the first pick overall.
