Homecoming season is in full effect! This year, Howard University held off until hours before its annual Yardfest to release its highly anticipated line-up. As always, social media got a hold of the list before anyone else could. According to the unofficial line-up, DaBaby will headline the event with a 4:25 p.m. set. Joining him on stage, Rotimi, Juvenile, Saweetie, Ambjaay, Layton Greene and Barachi are expected to perform. Also, Mack Wilds, Gia Peppers, Scottie Beam, DJ Envy, Terrence J, Angie Ange and Lori Harvey are likely to make appearances on stage.
The announcement of this year’s line-up comes after a strong year for many of those on the line-up. DaBaby have both reached the top of the Billboard 200 Charts for the first time. Meanwhile, Saweetie found her way into the top twenty-five of the Billboard Hot 100 with her record, “My Type”. Most recently, the two performed in Atlanta at the 2019 BET Hip-Hop Awards.
