James Harden, JaVale McGee, Nick Young, Dorell Wright and Baron Davis are just the latest players who have dominated in the Drew League.
Rockets’ All-Star James Harden dropped 28 points, grabbed 18 rebounds, and dished out 8 assists in the first round game and in round two he also had another killer performance scoring 42 points in the game.
Baron Davis, Stanley Johnson, and others joined Harden in putting on a show for the surrounding spectators in round 1.
Round 2 of the Drew League playoffs also provided some great plays.
The Warriors’ latest addition, JaVale McGee, chimed in with his own dominant output during the weekend.
Day 1
Day 2
Unfortunately for JaVale, the highlight of the weekend came when he was the victim of a huge poster dunk, thanks to Dorell Wright.
Nick Young’s future with the Lakers might not be clear but his present talents were on display as he killed during the first 2 rounds of the Drew League playoffs.
Day 1
Day 2
Before these guys, it was Terrence Ross delivering your Drew League highlight video and a little north of California, Zach LaVine and Jamal Crawford had a duel of their own in the Seattle Pro-Am while in the midwest, Jabari Parker performed in front of his home crowd during a Chicago Pro-Am.
The Drew League and some of these Pro-Ams have so far combined with the 2016 Rio Olympics to provide a much needed basketball presence during basketball’s driest season for fans, summer.
