It isn’t everyday – Literally – that a 13 year old takes the initiative to find a way to give back in such an unique way. Little League star pitcher, Mo’Ne Davis has found that unique way, giving back to poverty stricken girls in the only way she would know how.
Teaming up with M4D3 which stands for Make A Difference Everyday, Mo’Ne has created a Limited Edition sneaker line called ‘Mo’Ne Davis by M4D3’.
The shoes are designed to resemble a baseball which is for the sport that Mo’Ne strives for excellence in and has landed her on the cover of Sports Illustrated.
The shoes are available for pre-order now on the M4D3 website and with each shoe sold, 15% of the proceeds will be used to donate to girls around the world who are in need.
Here’s a little of what Davis had to say about designing the shoes and knowing she could make a difference.
“I never thought at the age of 13 I’d be a role model, but having young girls look up to me is pretty cool!”
I find this to be really amazing that a little girl at just the age of 13 can have in her mind that she would want to give back to those less fortunate in such a way. Her future is bright and with acts like this she will continued to be blessed.
Below are three different colorways for her shoe as well check them out and let us know what you guys think down in the comments.
