A colorway that we first saw on the Nike Zoom Kobe 4 is making a return this year for Kobe Bryant’s current signature shoe. The Nike Kobe 11 ‘Carpe Diem’ is the newest colorway to grace the silhouette but it isn’t as new as one would think. Gracing Bean’s shoe back in 2009, the Black/White-Court Purple-University Gold colorway returns better than ever as these have become a fan favorite instantly. With a release date set for this May 21, 2016 the retail price is $160 which comes by way of the sneakers being the Engineered Mesh version of the Nike Kobe 11. So far the Nike Kobe 11 EM has seen the ‘Draft Day’ colorway and ‘Aces’ aka ‘Lower Merion Aces’ release to retailers.
Post retirement looks to be working out just fine for the Kobe 11 if you ask me.
Check out these pictures which were spotted first at WearTesters.com and the pictures of the actual shoe itself spotted on eBay.
UPDATE: Looking to seize the day, the upcoming Nike Kobe 11 ‘Carpe Diem’ has been provided with official pictures from the the folks at Nike. The release date is still scheduled to be May 21st.
