Head Coach Scott Drew and the Baylor Bears have landed the commitment of 2024 top 20 recruit and top three center Yves Missi. The Prolific Prep big man is a likely “one and done” prospect that will immediately provide an impact on the rising Baylor basketball program. He committed to the Baylor Bears over the Texas Longhorns and Stanford Cardinal. Baylor has quickly become a hot spot for five-star talent that hopes to get to the NBA after just one season. Missi will hope to learn from Drew and then declare for the 2025 NBA Draft.

The Baylor Bears have already won a National Championship under Head Coach Scott Drew, but that won’t stop them from trying to win more. Yves Missi is an impressive recruit with time to get better as he matures in high school basketball. His goal will be to make his case as a lottery pick in the 2025 NBA Draft after his freshman year with the Bears. Scott Drew has already proven he can highlight his players and help them get taken at that level. Competing for a National Championship along the way would be a massive plus.

Yves Missi joins two recruits already committed to Baylor in the 2024 class. Already committed to the Bears is top 15 recruit and top five small forward Jason Asemota as well as top 85 recruit and top 15 point guard Rob Wright. Scott Drew will likely make more offers soon in both high school basketball and on the international stage.
