The second season of Wu-Tang: An American Saga has wrapped up on Hulu, but the legendary rap collective is still working hard. IGN has reported that Xbox is reportedly working on an RPG centered around the iconic group.
According to the report, the game is being developed by Brass Lion Entertainment, a studio that develop stories in “fictional universes that center on Black, Brown, and other traditionally marginalized characters, cultures, and stories.” Wu-Tang is far from Brass Lion Entertainment’s first group of celebrity collaborators. The studio has also worked with writer Evan Narcisse and producer Just Blaze.
Little is known about the game’s storyline, but it will be combat focused and players will collect weapons by complete certain in-game missions. Wu-Tang will also reportedly work on the soundtrack.
The game is tentatively titled Shaolin, but a release date has not been set as the studio searches for a lead designer.
