The WWE has announced that WrestleMania 40 will be held at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Saturday, April 6th, and Sunday, April 7th, 2024. This also means that WrestleMania will continue to be a two-day event for the foreseeable future. The biggest wrestling event of the year will take place at the home of the Phildelphia Eagles. WrestleMania is a week-long event for the hosting city and will bring wrestling fans from across the world to Philadelphia in April of 2024.

Along with hosting WrestleMania 40, Philadelphia will also host Friday Night Smackdown, the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and Monday Night Raw. Those events will take place in the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. For now, the WWE is in a period of transition and time will tell on the possible changes the wrestling company will undergo. By 2024 things will have likely evened out and this period will be a distant memory. Philadelphia has hosted the biggest event in wrestling one other time when the city hosted WrestleMania 15 in the Wells Fargo Center in 1999.
