Lil’ Wayne and 2 Chainz have unveiled the cover of their forthcoming joint LP, Welcome 2 ColleGrove. The artwork merges the facial profile of both rappers into a singular face against a black background.
“There we [go]! [I am] honored to bring this — the [second] of the [Collegrove] projects to life,” visual artist Jonathan Mannion wrote.
“Thank you, 2 Chainz and Lil’ Wayne for the incredible vibes! Big up to Team Mannion for the major production [post and pre] support.”
As mentioned by Mannion, the forthcoming project is the follow-up to their 2016 LP, ColleGrove. The 12-track project featured production from TM88, Mike Dean, Mannie Fresh and Metro Boomin’ along with singles like “Rolls Royce Weather Everyday” and “MFN Right.”
Seven years later, the sequel, led by the single, “Presha,” is set to arrive on November 17, 2023. While fans wait for the full album via Def Jam, check out the project’s cover below.
