Being that the Indiana Pacers are officially getting Paul George back into the lineup against the Miami Heat today, Pacers guard Rodney Stuckey has reasonable cause for concern. George is obviously the Pacers’ best player. Stuckey has been one of the compensating sources of offense for Indiana in George’s absence this season, and has done a terrific job of doing that under the radar.
Stuckey jokingly interrupted George during his press on Saturday to ask if he’ll still be getting his touches:
Rodney Stuckey asks if he will still be able to get his shots, haha…Rodney a very interested observer #PGREturnspic.twitter.com/7qviihy8U5

Paul George’s return is an awesome deal for the league and for the Pacers, who are in a fight for the final playoff spot in the East. No one expects George to be ready to take over the game right away. Not even Stuckey. We should expect George to continue his leadership role and do what’s best for his team, which for now means re-obtaining his game rhythm while allowing Stuckey and others to remain confident in what they’ve done up to this point.
