Wale could not have picked a better week to drop a new project in his home city of Washington, D.C. Yesterday, the Washington Nationals surprisingly advanced to the National League Championship Series. Tonight, the Washington Mystics won their first title in franchise history. Tomorrow, the industry’s best and brightest will take to the Yardfest stage at Howard University. Not to mention, the DMV artist just had a homecoming show at The Fillmore Silver Spring.
Wale’s latest project, Wow…That’s Crazy, will mark ten years since he dropped his debut album, Attention Deficit. In the past decade, Wale has linked up with J. Cole, Rick Ross, Meek Mill and many more en route to a hall of fame career. On this project, Wale teamed up with Ari Lennox, Boogie, 6LACK and many more. In addition, the project includes standout tracks like “Black Bonnie” featuring Jacquees and “On Chill” featuring Jeremih.
