Stephen Curry is one of the many athletes who take it upon themselves to make wishes come true for his young fans. You name the athlete and they most likely have been a participant in the ‘Make-A-Wish’ foundation and their goal to make wishes come true for young people who have dealt with life-changing or life-threatening situations.
Recently. Curry was the subject of a ‘My Wish’ segment on ESPN during the networks 10 year anniversary of partnering with the ‘Make-A-Wish’ foundation to showcase some of these meetings between stars and their adoring fans.
Now this is far from the first time Curry has granted wishes to kids, he’s been a man who takes time out for these people on more than one occasion but this instance was a little more special.
Ashley, who has been fighting Leukemia, elected to not use her wish solely on herself but also include her twin brother, Grant. It’s a great thing to see such a young person recognize that she’s not the only one suffering but those closest to her are also going through an immense amount of stress and emotional trauma with a loved one fighting for their life.
Check out the awesome moment between Curry and the wonderful twins from the reigning NBA MVP’s home state of North Carolina.
