Any basket was important for the Wizards in the fourth quarter, and luckily for Nene, the rim chose to be friendly and help his left-handed hook shot fall. After a spin, Nene was put a little off-balance after a small push by Mike Muscala, but was still able to maintain control of the ball and finish the shot.
Nene has always been an amazing finisher around the basket, and has to be considered one of the best in the league when it comes to finishing around the rim, even with some contact. More of these shots will have to fall for the Wizards if they want to win a must-win Game 6 at the Verizon Center. Nene is going to be a key in Game 6, and his ability to hit shots as vital as these will be a must for the Wizards to be able to extend the series to a winner-take-all Game 7.
