New York Knicks phenom and fourth overall pick in the draft Kristaps Porzingis flashed some of his immense potential on a highlight reel play in Thursday night’s game against the Atlanta Hawks. In the third quarter of the game, Porzingis stole a bad pass by Al Horford before putting Paul Millsap in the spin cycle and slamming home a dunk.
While the Knicks are struggling in this game and will likely not have a winning season, Knicks fans can be happy in seeing their rookie and future of the team making a great play. The impressive play showcased Porzingis’ wide skill range, something that was a big factor in the Knicks drafting him. The Knicks and their fans will be looking for more of these plays from Porzingis as he continues to develop into their future superstar. For now, fans can be content in hoping for a future infinitely more promising than when they booed the rookie on draft night.
