When the Houston Rockets came to visit the Brooklyn Nets there was not too much hype going into the game.
In less than 5 minutes of the game, things just exploded. Kevin Garnet was in the post trying to score on the Rockets big man, who he’s had an issue with before, and they got tangled up.
A foul was called and as Garnett tried to plead his case, it all went down hill.
This isn’t the first time that Howard has been involved in an altercation this season. You’ll famously remember the issue Howard had with Kobe Bryant to start the season. Then later on, Kevin Durant even had a few words to send towards Dwight Howard as well.
I don’t think many guys in the league feel a great deal of empathy towards Dwight Howard. I don’t even think there are many players who still like Dwight.
Does that mean a turn to the dark side for Howard? Possibly, but something has to give soon because his play, as of late, isn’t translating into great things for the Rockets but he’s definitely going to have to step it up if the Rockets want to get anywhere deep in the playoffs then he’ll have to start playing better and fast.
