Players often have huge games against the New York Knicks, but they happen in Madison Square Garden. Tonight, the Knicks traveled to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves in the Target Center. Karl-Anthony Towns turned the Target Center into MSG on Wednesday night, and he put on an absolute show.
On the night, Towns scored a total of 47 points. He was making great plays all game, such as this up and under at the end of the game. On the night, he shot 15-22, and he got to the free throw line 20 times making 17 of his attempts. He also had a huge night on the boards, grabbing 18 rebounds including 3 offensive boards. You would think that his team could pull off a win in this game, but sadly the Knicks came out on top.

The Knicks would end up on top by a score of 106-104. In the victory, Kristaps Porzingis scored 29 points on 11 for 20 shooting, and he also hit 3 of 7 threes. Carmelo pitched in with 14 points, and he made the shot that clinched the victory for his team. The Knicks did a good job of coming out on top despite Towns’s night.
