It was billed as a matchup between the top 2 picks in the 2015 NBA Draft. It was Karl-Anthony Towns and the Minnesota Timberwolves against D’Angelo Russell and the Los Angeles Lakers.
For the T-Wolves, Towns didn’t steal the show, it was a fantastic output from the defending NBA Slam Dunk Champion Zach LaVine that led the way to a Minnesota win.
But Town didn’t disappoint. He showed his great passing, fantastic jumpshot, ability to finish around the basket and defense for everyone to enjoy.
On the flipside, the other bright young guard out of the 2015 NBA Draft, D’Angelo Russell, also had a chance to showcase his talents. He presented his stellar passing, fantastic jumpshot, great ballhandling and ability to finish at the rim in front of a sold-out, standing room only Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
