
Usher has secured yet another bag. The R&B legend out of Atlanta is set to travel out to California this month to host the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Adding to his duties, Usher is also slated to perform at this year’s award show. With this honor, Usher joins an accomplished list of past hosts that includes Jamie Foxx, DJ Khaled, T-Pain and Jason Derulo.
“I’m excited to be hosting and performing during the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards,” Usher told Variety.
“This year’s show includes an incredible lineup of exceptionally talented artists. It’s going to be a great time!”
The 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards are set to take place in Los Angeles, California on May 27 at the Dolby Theater. Roddy Ricch, Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa and many others are slated to attend the award show. The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars and Dan + Shay are slated to perform as well. Rounding out the night’s festivities, Lil’ Nas X and Chris Martin will present the iHeartRadio Icon Award to Elton John.
The 2021 iHeartRadio Music Awards will be aired on tape delay through FOX from 8-10 p.m. on May 27.
