Well, that escalated quickly.
In just a couple of hours, the Kansas City Chiefs went from allowing Tyreek Hill to seek a trade to an agreement to send him to the Miami Dolphins for five draft picks. The team will receive a first, second, and fourth-round pick for the 2022 NFL Draft and a fourth and six for 2023, according to Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero from NFL Network.
Trade talks surrounding Tyreek Hill had been heating up since contract talks stalled late last week.
Now, he's headed to the #Dolphins for a massive hall, with the #Chiefs receiving Miami's first-, second- and fourth-round picks this year, plus a fourth and sixth in 2023.
Wild.

The six-time Pro-Bowler and the Chiefs were working on a contract extension but the conversations stalled. With the Dolphins, Hill will sign a four-year deal worth up to $120 million with $72.2 million guaranteed. The deal makes him the highest-paid wide receiver, surpassing Davante Adams.
Overall, this is a 4-year extension worth $120M per agent @DrewJRosenhaus with $72.2M guaranteed. As @TomPelissero said, the 3-year numbers are below. https://t.co/3Ntrj8Edm6

Hill will give the Dolphins a deep-throw weapon as we have seen in his time in Kansas. This last season, he went for 1524 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns in 20 games played.
