Actor Gregory Tyree Boyce and his girlfriend, Natalie Adepoju, were found dead in their Las Vegas condo on Wednesday morning. Details surrounding the couple’s death are sparse. As a result, the cause of death for either individual is not available yet.
Boyce was a California native who was best known for his role as Tyler in Twilight. More recently, he appeared in Trevor Jackson’s short film, Apocalypse.
Shortly before the couple’s passing, the two were reportedly planning on opening a restaurant together. Boyce was reportedly the engine behind the potential restaurant’s cuisine. His mother, Lisa Wayne, described her son as “the best chef.”
“I can say that my son was my favorite chef. He was on to something great and that was his passion,” she wrote on Facebook.
She went on to explain that he had a knack for creating unique flavors and naming them after rappers.
“He created the flavors to his perfection and named them after west coast rappers,” she added.
Boyce leaves behind his mother and 10 year old daughter, Alaya. Adepoju leaves behind her son, Egypt.
“I’m sick without you. I’m torn, I’m lost. I’m in pain. I’d text you or call you when I was broken or worried about something, and you’d tell me, Ma, I got you, we’ll get thru this together,” Wayne wrote on Facebook.
Boyce was 30 years old at the time of his death. Adepoju was 27 years old.
