This week, as most shows took the week off for the holiday, nearly every network saw ratings slip. However, Monday Night Football hitting a four-year high of 11.3 household rating did help pad the blow at ABC. The Good Doctor and Dancing with the Stars benefitted from that boost, hitting 1.2 and 1.3 in the 18-49 demo respectively.
NBC’s The Voice didn’t fare so well however with a 1.3, the series’ lowest ever number for a Monday. Manifest followed suit tying its season-low of 1.1. However, NBC still won the night with a 1.3 in adults 18-49, barely edging out ABC’s 1.1 rating.
On Tuesday, the rating slide continued Tuesday at NBC. This is Us hit a series low 1.8 rating in the 18-49 demo while The Voice tied the season low it set on Monday.
Things didn’t go well at ABC either as most of its series hit season lows. Most notably, The Conners hit a season low of 1.4 while Black-ish also dropped to a season-low 0.8 rating. Over at CBS, FBI dropped to a 1.0 rating while NCIS and its New Orleans spinoff dropped to 1.2 and 0.8, respectively.
Overall, NBC won the 18-49 demographic again on Tuesday with a 1.4 rating, followed by 1.0 from CBS, and a 0.9 from ABC.
