
On April 27, 2023, Rahjon “Tsu Surf” Cox pleaded guilty to the following charges: Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) conspiracy and possession of firearms and ammunition by a convicted felon. The aforementioned charges carry a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison if taken to trial.
“From 2015 through Sept. 22, 2022, Cox was a member of the Rollin’ 60s Neighborhood Crips, a criminal enterprise responsible for acts of violence and the distribution of controlled substances in New Jersey and elsewhere. Cox held a leadership role within the enterprise. On March 18, 2017, Cox shot a firearm at a gang rival,” a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of New Jersey reads.
Shortly after pleading guilty, the Newark, New Jersey native shared a message through his manager, Qua Bellamy, and FOX 5 New York’s Lisa Evers.
“Qua says…he is in good spirits and preparing to deal with a federal law enforcement matter,” Evers said.
“He says he’s also making plans to take care of his family and the business associates who depend on him. Qua also says that Tsu does not know the severity of the situation yet, but is preparing for the worst and praying for the best.”
In addition to sharing news via Evers and Bellamy, Tsu Surf also shared a quick message with his fans via Twitter.
