Bobby Shmurda (signed to Epic Records) arguably has had the biggest record of this past summer and year, ‘Hot Nigga‘. Not only that but his case for being on the XXL Freshman list is a rightful one, single handily made by that record alone, regardless if he’s locked up or not.
Bobby has been locked up for the past 4 months on several different accusations and charges for what is being said to be his involvement with a gang he is accused of being the driving force of.
With his record still on the billboard Hot 100 for these last 4 months it’s sad to see Shmurda not enjoy the success it has generated.
Bobby whose real name is Ackquille Pollard has the support of his Mom, Leslie Pollard. She sat down with Fox 5 News at a Brooklyn seafood restaurant which she owns to proclaim that Bobby and his friends, the GS9 are not a gang and that the cops are targeting her son.
It must be hard for a single mother to deal with the fact her 20 year old son is locked up, I’m sure it would be hard for any mother to deal with this type of situation when you have a totally different depiction of your child than what is being portrayed to those looking in from the outside.
