Ohio State Buckeyes running back TreVeyon Henderson has undergone foot surgery and will miss the 2022 College Football Playoffs. He had already missed time at the end of this season because of the injury. The sophomore had a spectacular freshman season and figured to be one of the best running backs in college football this season, but the foot injury slowed him down most of the season. He and the team are hopeful he can return next season healthy and get back to the success he had as a freshman with the Buckeyes.
As much as I wanted to finish out the season with my brothers, I know god have bigger and better plans for me! Its always light at the end of the tunnel, be back better than ever.. ?? #KeepGoing

This season in limited action with the Ohio State Buckeyes, TreVeyon Henderson rushed 107 times for 571 yards and six touchdowns. He also caught four passes for 28 yards and one touchdown. Despite missing a large portion of the season, he still finished as the team’s second-leading rusher this season. The team will miss him to close the season, but be excited to have him back healthy next year.
The fourth-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes are set to take on the first-ranked Georgia Bulldogs in the 2022-23 College Football Playoffs semifinals on December 31st in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. That game is scheduled to kick off at eight p.m. EST in Atlanta, Georgia. We here at Def Pen Sports wish TreVeyon Henderson the best in his recovery and return to the football field next season.
