This fall, Travis Scott is headed to Sin City. Zouk Nightclub has announced that the Houston native will headline a seven-night residency at the Las Vegas, Nevada venue. The “Road To Utopia” residency will kick off on September 17, 2022 and return on October 15, 2022. Additional dates for the performance series have not yet been announced.
“Travis Scott was a seamless fit for the Zouk Nightclub roster,” Zouk Nightclub CEO Andrew Li reportedly shared in a press release.
“His electric performances will pair perfectly with our immersive atmosphere, bringing our guests an unmatched show unlike anything else they can find in Las Vegas. We can’t wait to kick off his residency and continue to amplify our talent lineup.”
Travis Scott’s “Road To Utopia” residency is his first major performance partnership since Astroworld Festival came to a tragic end last November. A mass casualty incident left nearly a dozen people dead and many more injured. In the immediate aftermath, Travis Scott, Drake, Live Nation and several other parties were hit with lawsuits totaling more than $1 billion.
Following the incident, Travis Scott remained relatively quiet. He issued a statement apologizing to the families and sat down for a discussion with iHeartMedia’s Charlamagne Tha God. More recently, Travis Scott has put together performances at private events and appeared as a special guest at Rolling Loud. He was also set to headline Day N’ Vegas in September before it was canceled. Scott’s ability to secure a Las Vegas residency seemingly suggests that he will resume live performances in the future and release his latest album, Utopia, despite his ongoing legal troubles.
