Pinson went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft after playing four years at the University of North Carolina. For the 2018-19 season, he signed a two-way contract, and later in the season, it was converted to a regular NBA contract.
In the offseason, he signed a two-year deal that has a team option for the second year. In his career, he has played a total of 51 games for the Nets and has averaged 3.9 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists in 11.3 minutes per game.
As for Trier, he’s on the last year of his two-year contract he signed during the 2018-19 season. During this season, he averaged 6.5 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 12.1 minutes per game.
