The last 24 hours have been quite special in the tri-state area. Leading the way, New Jersey native Sydney McLaughlin took home a gold medal in the women’s 400-meter hurdles at the Tokyo Olympics. Following closely behind, New York’s Dalilah Muhammad took home a silver medal in the same event. Hours later, New Yorks’s own Kemba Walker signed a deal to play for the New York Knicks. To top it all off, The LOX and Dipset took over Madison Square Garden for a classic Verzuz matchup.
Ending the night, The LOX and Dipset confirmed some exciting news that they had teased earlier in the day during an interview with Power 105.1‘s Angie Martinez. The two groups will head on tour this fall, but there is an added surprise. State Property will also join the tour. The tour will kick off in Atlanta, Georgia on September 16 and things will end on October 1 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Along the way, the classic Hip-Hop groups will stop in Austin, Baton Rouge, Orlando, Dallas, Houston and Chicago. Cam’ron has also hinted that more dates will be added in the coming weeks.
