Netflix has announced that their drama series, The Crown, will return on November 15, 2020. The show’s fourth season will feature Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher and Emma Corrin as Princess Diana. Josh O’Connor will also tackle the role of Prince Charles.
The new season will highlight Prince Charles and Diana’s tense relationship. Meanwhile, Margaret Thatcher will make her grand entrance as British Prime Minister. In the end, parties must put their differences aside to maintain their power.
“The monarchy. Above all else,” Netflix writes.
Season four will return for a bang this fall, but fans will want to cherish this season for a while. The show will take a break in production until 2021. Then, The Crown will return for its fifth and final season late in 2022.
