Festival season is slowly coming to a close following Rolling Loud’s recent trip up to New York. Next week, the season for live performances, expensive merch booths and a variety of food vendors will seemingly come to a close with Austin City Limits in Texas and ONE Musicfest in Georgia. While both lineups promise to deliver great moments and music, there has been a shakeup down in Atlanta.
ONE Musicfest has announced that Tems and Beenie Man will no longer perform at ONE Musicfest in Atlanta, Georgia this month. In a tweet, festival organizers cited travel restrictions as the culprit.
“We regret to announce that due to travel restrictions, Tems and Beenie Man were not able to secure their VISA to travel to the country,” the festival’s main account tweeted.
“They will no longer be able to perform at ONE Musicfest. We look forward to presenting their amazing talent at a later date.”
As expected, the removal of the two international stars did not sit well with a number of fans who were excited to see Tems and Beenie Man live. Still, ONE Musicfest still hopes to deliver with an exciting lineup that includes Lauryn Hill, Lil’ Baby, Jazmine Sullivan and many others. Not to mention, The Big Fact Mixtape is expected to bring together some of the city’s finest like Rich Homie Quan, Pastor Troy and Rocko among others.
ONE Musicfest weekend is set to kick off on October 7, 2022 at the official pre-party with Big K.R.I.T, Jermaine Dupri and Lil’ Duval. From there, things will move over to Central Park for two days of performances.
