For fans of TDE’s leading lady, it has been a bumpy road leading up to SZA’s followup to her amazing Ctrl debut album. With the recent months seeing the star hinting at a possible EP of tracks that didn’t make the album’s final cut, to voicing some frustrations with management via social media, patience has paid off for the singer and her supporters.
Announcing “Hit Different” with Ty Dolla $ign, with not much time to spare before its midnight (9/4) release, SZA ensured to give fans the full treatment with the record and music video coming all at once. In true SZA fashion, the record and accompanying visual is worth all the wait and delivers on all fronts.
