Ah so close! Just when owner of the Phoenix Suns Robert Sarver spoke 100% truth about the Suns’ sudden drop in being an efficient franchise, he then waits the very next day to take a steaming dump on the comments, spouting some stupid and unnecessary drivel.
So why is he hustling backwards? Because like all of us, he’s done talking about Markieff Morris and his soppy attitude. But instead of trading him or trying to help him move on, he just blames ‘millennial culture’ like a classic grumpy old man.
“I’m not sure it’s just the NBA,” Sarver said, when reached by The Republic via phone, regarding personality clashing and dysfunction within locker rooms. “My whole view of the millennial culture is that they have a tough time dealing with setbacks, and Markieff Morris is the perfect example. He had a setback with his brother in the offseason, and he can’t seem to recover from it.”
“I’m not sure if it’s the technology or the instant gratification of being online,” Sarver said. “But the other thing is, I’m not a fan of social media. I tell my kids it’s like Fantasyland. The only thing people put online are good things that happen to them, or things they make up. And it creates unrealistic expectations.“
If you haven’t gathered already, I’m miffed about this. I want to fire so many expletives at this guy.
What is the point of insulting millennials because you can’t get a grip of your own franchise? And if you are done with Morris. Do him and all of us a favour and TRADE HIM! Then poof, all of your Markieff Morris related problems are gone. Robert Sarver. Quit chatting utter nonsense and talk to the people below you because you’re team is slowly slipping out of Playoff contention.
