
Summer Walker’s debut album Over It places the rising R&B star among elite company on music charts.
The Atlanta artist put-up numbers female R&B singers have not seen since Beyoncé’s Lemonade. According to Billboard, Summer Walker’s Over It debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, with 134,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Oct. 10 making it the biggest week since Lemonade earned 202,000 units in its third week.

Billboard continues to report, Over It’s starting sum of 134,000 makes 14,000 album sales, 1,000 TEA units and 119,000 SEA units with the latter figure translating to 154.7 million on-demand audio streams for the album’s songs. This accomplishment surpasses Beyoncé’s Lemonade which debuted with 115.2 million on-demand audio streams.
While dominating the charts, Summer Walker prepares to head out on “The First And Last Tour” featuring Bronx artist Melii.
