With the NBA season winding down, Stephen Curry may have just found the best shooting stroke he has had all season long. The smaller Splash Bro and owner of the NBA single-season record for most threes in a season hit 77 threes in a row. Yes, three pointers. Not free throws. Not layups. THREES. As Curry went around the three-point line, taking ten shots from ten spots, he simply wasn’t missing.
Steph told ESPN that the 77 straight made threes was the most he has ever made in a row. Curry took 100 shots and only missed 6. He made 94 of them! That is a shooting percentage of 94% which is absolutely CRAZY. That sounds like a lot of people’s layup percentage, except he is doing it from three! There is also a video on ESPN.

confirmed. RT @darrenrovell: ESPN’s Tom Friend says Steph Curry made 77 straight 3-pointers today in practice, 94 out 100

The other Splash Bro, Klay Thompson, told ESPN that he could not believe Curry hit that many threes. He told ESPN that his personal record is 36. 36 is amazing, but Curry just crushed that number.
Curry holds the record for most threes in an NBA season, breaking his own record this year, at 284 on the season. Steph is averaging 3.6 threes per game this season. With him finding his stroke right here, it leaves us to wonder if Steph will be able to shoot like this in the playoffs. I would think not, but he sure will put up big numbers. 94% would be a difficult percentage to hit in an NBA game, anyways. The only other question is, did he set a new record for most consecutive threes ever? If not, I really do wonder who hit more than 77 straight NBA threes and I applaud that person.
