Comedian and late-night host Stephen Colbert will return to premium cable on election night. Colbert will host Stephen Colbert’s Election Night 2020: Democracy’s Last Stand on Showtime. It marks his second election-night special. He hosted Stephen Colbert’s Live Election Night Democracy’s Series Finale: Who’s Going to Clean Up This Sh*t? in 2016.
“It’s going to be a great night although my therapist has reminded me America has to want to change,” Colbert said.
Colbert will be joined by a number of special guests including Charlamagne Tha God, Alex Wagner, John Heilemann and Mark McKinnon. Chris Licht, Tom Purcell and Jon Stewart will also join the special as executive producers.
Stephen Colbert’s Election Night 2020: Democracy’s Last Stand will air on Showtime at 11 p.m. on November 3, 2020.
