300 Entertainment is off to a fast start this weekend. First up, the label shared the 14th studio album from legendary singer Mary J. Blige. Produced by D’Mile and DJ Khaled, Good Morning Gorgeous sets the stage of the Grammy Award winner as she prepares for her Super Bowl debut later this weekend. Next up, 300 Entertainment has delivered the third LP from Florida-based artist $not, Ethereal. Complete with 14 new tracks, the project includes contributions from Teddi Jones, Trippie Redd, Kevin Abstract, Juicy J and Joey Bada$$.
The new project from New York-born artist is led by a collaboration with A$AP Rocky called “Doja.” Aggressive and lively in nature, the high-energy set the stage for what is sure to be his most talked about project yet. However, things got off to a controversial start when many listeners claimed the rapper admitted to having sex with Doja Cat on the song’s hook. Not long thereafter, $not took to Twitter to dispute those claims.
“Y’all [misunderstood]. I said, ‘I’ll f*ck that b*tch named Doja Cat.’ I was talking [recklessly],” he tweeted.
“[I meant] no disrespect to Doja [Cat]. She’s a queen. I made this song to get lit,” he added.
Controversy aside, $not has used the success of the single to propel Ethereal. Check out the new album from the rising artist below.
