The Steph Curry and Klay Thompson of New York’s next generation have returned. This week, Sheff G and Sleepy Hallow delivered a new track called “Tip Toe” produced by Great John.
“I got them big packs on me/No bodybuilder, straps all around like a d*ke is with us/Baby so fire, yeah, that’s how I bill her/No domestic violence but I got to hit her,” Sheff G raps.
“Birkin bag on her back and she frontin’/Birkin bag in the back and she cap a lot/I do drugs, I trap a lot,” Sleepy Hallow raps.
In addition to releasing new music, the two have announced that they have established a partnership with RCA Records. Through their Winners Circle Entertainment brand, the New York collective will work with RCA Records to bring their sound around the world.
“It’s great to see NY rap getting back into these conversations, especially in my hometown of Brooklyn,” RCA Records Urban Music President Mark Pitts said.
“We’re happy to be here. We worked hard and led the streets for a minute. Now it’s time to take this whole thing over. We did that. And there’s more coming,” Sheff G added.
