When in the first round of the Draft, teams usually keep their plans under wraps giving no information to teams surrounding them.
But the Philadeplhia 76’ers obviously didn’t get the memo…
According to Philly.com, Andrew Wiggins was treated to a little “get to know each other” with the Sixers organisation while around the town prepping for his 76’ers workouts on Friday…
He got into a black Chevrolet Suburban with Sixers center Nerlens Noel and front office employee Brandon D. Williams.
Wiggins was spotted Monday night at a Rittenhouse Square restaurant with Sixers general manager Sam Hinkie.
A source confirmed a Yahoo Sports report that Wiggins took a tour of the city.
It’s clear that they want him and I wouldn’t be surprised if they get him. I consider Wiggins to go 3rd and most Draft guru’s agree with me.
But wait! There’s more. Back to Philly…
Sources have confirmed a report that the Sixers have inquired about trading for the Cavs’ first pick. The Sixers reportedly aren’t willing to give up their third and 10th picks in exchange for the No. 1 selection. They will, however, possibly give up a combination of the No. 3 pick and power forward Thaddeus Young, according to ESPN.com.
Philadeplhia are sure doing well in sending mixed signals.
Honestly, I think they’ll stick with the 3rd pick. I don’t think they could afford to give any players up, especially Thad Young.
