Shordie Shordie and Murda Beatz have delivered hit after hit after hit over the last few months. From “Doctors” to “Love” featuring Trippie Redd, the two have developed a chemistry that has produced a nostalgic feel centered around storytelling. Their first joint project, Memory Lane, has arrived.
“Memory Lane. It takes us back. It takes us back to memories or real music,” Shordie Shordie told Uproxx.
“It brings me back to real music. It brings me back to not really caring about streaming, not really caring about who got higher status this week.”
The two hope that fans will enjoy the cinematic feel of the EP along with a few new sounds. Shordie Shordie believes that this project will showcase his versatility.
“It’s going to be something different that people wouldn’t expect from me and Murda,” he said.“
“It’s like when you go to the IMAX theatre and you’re watching a movie. Every song has a beginning to an end.”
