
Newark native and world titlist Shakur Stevenson will defend his WBO Featherweight title against Miguel Marriaga. His latest title defense will take place next month on March 14, 2020 in the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.
Stevenson is coming into the fight with a record of twenty-two wins and no losses. Last year, he won four fights en route to his first title. Along the way, he defeated top contenders such as Jessie Cris Rosales, Christopher Diaz, Joet Gonzalez and Alberto Guevara.

On the other end, Marriaga is veteran boxer out of Colombia. He comes into the ring with twenty-nine wins and three losses. In his career, Marriaga is winless in title fights with losses against Nicholas Walter, Oscar Valdez and Vasiliy Lomachenko.
In addition to Stevenson’s title defense, Hulu Theater will host a featherweight battle between Michael Conlan and Belmar Preciado on March 17th.
Conlan and Stevenson will enter each of their fights as favorites. Undercard bouts will be announced in the coming days.
