“I think Rolly is the biggest conman in boxing. [I’m not] going to lie. He can sell a fight. He’s one of these dudes who can talk,” he said.
“Rolly can’t fight. He’s trash. He’s a bum. Floyd blessed him with that world title shot, [but] he [didn’t] deserve that. When I fight, I win. I dominate. I know what level I’m on. Fighting him would be like fighting a student, a little kid.”
After beating Shuichiro Yoshino in his lightweight debut, Shakur Stevenson has wasted no time calling out other fighters. In addition to calling out Romero, he’s also expressed an interest in fighting WBA “Regular” Lightweight Champion Gervonta “Tank” Davis and undisputed lightweight champion Devin Haney.
“I think both [Davis and Haney] fights is great fights for me,” Stevenson told TMZ Sports.
“Obviously, I think me and Tank is a bigger fight, but me and Dev is a fight where I could establish who I am as a fighter.”
