Sevyn Streeter is back with a new single. For her latest release, she links up with A$AP Ferg and her longtime collaborator, Chris Brown, for “Guilty.” Inspired by The Notorious B.I.G’s “Can’t You See,” the song samples “The Payback” by James Brown. Together, the trio celebrates Valentine’s Day weekend by signing about cheating on their significant other.
“You gon’ get me/Caught up, love drunk, fucked up over you/But we don’t feel guilty/The more that we keep sneakin’, creepin’, leavin’/Hotel rooms/Might just leave ’em alone,” Sevyn Streeter and Chris Brown sing.
“And, yeah, I saw you with your man on Rodeo Drive/SMH, thinking about how I was in those thighs/Know you wish you were with me, you see me in the ride/You also see my b*tch, she sittin’ in the passenger side,” A$AP Ferg raps.
“Guilty” is Sevyn Streeter’s first single of the year. It’s been nearly four years since she released Girl Disrupted, but she’s stayed active dropping records like “Kissez” and working with Ty Dolla $ign. Hopefully, “Guilty” is a sign that a new project is on the way. Check out the song below.
