SAINt JHN sets the table for his next project with the release of “Circles.” Produced by Santo, Shepps and Louie Raphael Gomez, the 192-second track highlights the New York native’s ability to bend genres to fit his unconventional style. The Rock-leaning guitars paired with a heavy-hitting bass line gives the Roc Nation artist the necessary creative freedom to tell a story of love bordering on heartbreak in a way that only he can.
“[Our love is like] when a square meets a circle. I been tryna make it all fit for you. I ain’t really tryna hurt you, but the walls gotta break. [We’ve got to] bend the rules. I’ve been runnin’ in circles. I been really tryna hurt myself for you. What am I gonna do?” he asks.
“[When I] lie next to you, I feel invincible. I crash, get up and run back to you.”
Following the release of “Humble” last week, “Circles” is the second single from SAINt JHN’s Collection II: Fake Tears From A Pop Star. Building upon a 2023 and early 2024 that included the release of City of Mountains and an appearance in The Book Of Clarence, SAINt JHN is ready to return to music with his first full project since 2020.
