Fresh off of the stage at Governors Ball, Sabrina Carpenter has locked in her latest hit collaboration, but it’s not with another artist. The emerging pop star has teamed up with Van Leeuwen to launch “Espresso” ice cream. The limited-edition release blends chewy brownies, chocolate chips and swirls of fudge to create a flavorful summer treat. Beginning June 28, it will be available in all Van Leeuwen scoop shops and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a charity that has not yet been named.
“Doing a flavor collab with a genuine Van Leeuwen super fan is always a lot of fun. We’re so excited to celebrate Sabrina and her newest hit with this extremely delicious ice cream,” Van Leeuwen CEO Ben Leeuwen said.
The limited-edition treat is inspired by Sabrina Carpenter’s breakout hit, “Espresso.” Released in April, the track ebuted at number ten on the Billboard Global 200 chart, becoming Carpenter’s first top ten single. Two months later, the song is platinum or better in four different countries, including the U.S., and has peaked at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Capitalizing on the track’s success, Carpenter will release her sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet, on August 23, 2024.
