Tannehill was under-center for the Titans as they went 9-7 in the regular season and made their way into the Playoffs by securing a Wild Card spot. In the postseason, Tannehill and Derrick Henry led the Titans offense as they scored massive wins over the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens before falling to the eventual Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs.
With Ryan Tannehill eventually winning the NFL Comeback Player of the Year, the Titans decided to stick with Tannehill and not turn to a free agent such as Tom Brady.
