Russell Westbrook left the Thunder’s game against the Suns late in the first half after receiving an inadvertent Luis Scola elbow above his eye. Westbrook – who has never missed an NBA game during his career – left the game and did not return until almost the halfway point of the third quarter.
Westbrook received stitches but managed to finish the night with 24 points, nine assists, seven rebounds.
