RMR releases a ski-mask laden music video for the contemporary Country song “Rascal.”
Visibly, the music video looks to be a typical Rap music video of the ‘Worldstar Hip-Hop-” era. RMR is centered throughout the video, surrounded by a handful of guys, all sporting weapons, masks, and hoodies. RMR himself rocks a designer bulletproof vest, hanging out on the front porch. Positioning “Rascal” as a literary masterpiece, judging this book by the cover will leave viewers confused.
“Rascal” in sound is a contemporary Country ballad featuring RMR singing about the bitches that broke his heart. The song flips “Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts giving the country song with deep roots a new life.
Overall, “Rascal” by RMR is not a bad listen but, the juxtaposition of the sound against the look takes the interest factor up a notch. RMR sings “fuck 12” blissfully through a mouth full of gold teeth, reaching delicate high notes.
Currently, the official music video for “Rascal” by RMR has been removed from the artist’s official YouTube channel and all streaming services. According to The New Wave, the video was removed by UMPG. Super-producer and record label CEO Timbaland spoke out against the takedown, applauding RMR’s creativity and refreshing sound.
The video is currently available on YouTube through The New Wave’s channel. Fans have employed the hashtag #FreeRMR to bring the official video back to RMR’s platforms.
